Sample: an essay-shaped placeholder

This is a sample post. It stands where an essay will stand, so the section can be reviewed with text in it.

Essays here will tend to be longer than engineering posts and slower in pace. A question is laid out, a few positions are tried against it, and the essay ends where honesty requires it to end, which is not always at a conclusion.
